Well it is busy being retired. I did finally make it to the Family Research Center in the Joseph Smith Building. Had a lot of -elderly -sisters crowded around me with a million questions - few of them about geneology. Got started with a few mishaps and then went to our favorite Rooftop Garden resturant. I bought the first level of rosetta stone. I'll get started soon on that. Will be leaving for Maui Wed morning for 5 nights. Should be fun. Dadio

Staying in the Red Lion! for now --there was a nice food basket waiting for me here at the hotel. Thank you Laura, especially the bag of mm peanuts mmmm. There is a shuttle to several ski slopes from the hotel..I'll have to check it out. yeah - Im here! but I am sad, I forgot to hug Lizzie.

Setting in CA Long Beach airport.. Beautiful. My planning worked. Flying out to Ca first and then back to SL was to avoid any delays -in Atlanta just overr 2000 flights cancelled already -HA. The only problem is that I didnt get a window seat -note: if you dont get a seat assigned when you make a reservation -your're setting in the middle... the lady setting in the window seat never opened the window - what a waste. I snookered a window seat on to SL so I will play my part... Man - leaving DC at noon and in Ca at 3:30...what would the pioneers say.... man...
