Friends
Well here I am --with a silly grin on my face apparently.. the zoo was pretty cool. You couldnt see very far because they made it like you were walking in the jungle....therefore - I saw several things several times - everyone was walking around with the zoo map talking too themselves...or maybe that was just me - anyway it was cool and another fun day. Didnt take a lot of pictures - we've all seen the zoo... I did happen to walk into the sloth area just as the female was giving birth,,it was really fun watching all the zoo keepers running up to catch the action, they were laughing and giggling and reeeely excited - apparently she was pregnant when they captured her many months ago and they were all waiting for this moment....lucky me - the dad was at the bottom of the cage and apparently could care less...or maybe he is just slow to react being a sloth and all...I moved on to the baby hippo,,at least I could see him.....

Well - I wasnt sure if I would stop here since Ive been here before - but my car wouldnt drive past it....:) It was a cool day in the 70's and it was fun -specially the new star wars ride...cool. I left the park late and drove to Capistrano Beach for the night...I can hear - and see the waves..people are actually out there with camp fires tonight.. I will get on to San Diego tomorrow and the zoo.,,..I will spend a few days in SD - probably need to rest a little...
